Gas Monitoring Systems

PureAire vs. Draeger Polytron

The following is a cost of ownership comparison for a Draeger Polytron gas detector as compared to a PureAire gas detector.  Draeger monitors use disposable sensor cells. PureAire monitors use a proprietary renewable sensor cell technology that only requires replacing the electrolyte and membrane.  The price for recharging a PureAire sensor cell is only $34 dollars and the frequency is between 6 months and 2 years per sensor.

Many of PureAire sensor cells can operate in 100% RH condensing environments with virtually zero drift.  Additionally our renewable sensor cell can operate outdoors in Texas summer heat or a North Dakota winter without the use of coolers and cell heaters.  Draeger Polytron monitor operates their cells to 0 to 100 %RH, non condensing environments.1
