Gas Monitoring Systems

PureAire vs. Honeywell Analytics

This comparison displays the annual cost of operating a Honeywell Analytics, MST Satellite monitor with disposable sensor cell and a PureAire gas detector with renewable sensor cell.  There are many differences between a Honeywell Analytics, MST Satellite gas detector and a PureAire gas detector.  Honeywell Analytics, MST Satellite monitors use disposable sensor cells that require 6 month calibration depending on the sensor cell.1

PureAire monitors use a proprietary renewable sensor cell technology that requires only replacing the electrolyte and membrane every 6 to 24 months at cost of $34 dollars per sensor.  PureAire’s renewable sensor cells are never thrown away.

Many of PureAire sensor cells can operate in 100% RH condensing environments with virtually zero drift. Honeywell Analytics, MST Satellite monitors can go into 20 - 90% RH non condensing environments.2  Additionally our renewable ammonia sensor cell can operate in cold storage freezers at sub zero temperatures of -40C.  Honeywell Analytics, MST Satellite cells operating temperature range is of -4° F to 104° F (-20° C to 40° C).3  Honeywell Analytics MST H2 Sensormodule has a 6 month warranty.4 Honeywell Analytics MST H2 Sensormodule has an expected sensor life time > 12 months.4
