The Air Check Lite sensor is ideally suited for protecting your personnel, products, and plant from the hazards of ammonia leaks. The Air Check Lite is sensitive to detect the smallest leaks (5 ppm) to provide early warning of low-level ammonia concentrations that can destroy your produce and dairy products.

PureAire’s proprietary sensor cell permits locating the Air Check Lite into blast freezers without requiring a heater to keep the sensor active. The ammonia cell’s response time is not effected by cold temperature, nor does it passivate (fall asleep) in the absence of ammonia gas. Bi-annual gas checks are recommended. In the event of a high gas release, PureAire’s ammonia sensor cell electrolyte is easily replaced in less than 5 minutes for about $30. Compared with annual replacement of competitive disposable cells, the Air Check more than pays for itself in a very short period of time.

The Air Check transmitter electronics are housed in a Nema 4X IP 65 weather resistance housing and
can be remotely mounted from the sensor cell up to 30 feet to provide monitoring in limited access areas. Finally, the Air Check Lite has the option of a built-in local digital gas concentration display and single or dual level user selectable alarm relay contacts.

Connects to DCS and PLC Controls

The Air Check Lite Ammonia monitor is 24VDC powered and transmits continuous ammonia concentration levels to any distributive control system, programmable logic controller or PureAire’s proprietary single and multichannel controllers. The Air Check Lite can be operated remote up to 1,000 meters, 0.6 miles from centralized distributive control systems.
