Toxic Gas IS Gas Monitor Model TX-KXP-D

Toxic Gas Monitor Model TX-KYP-D
  • Toxic and Corrosive gas monitor with intrinsically safe transmitter
  • NEMA 4X IP65 water resistant enclosure
  • No flame arrestors required. Prevents any loss of absorbing mineral acid gases
  • Plug-in renewable electrochemical sensor
  • Non-intrusive One-man remote calibration
  • Back lit digital gas concentration display

The model TX-KXP-D toxic and corrosive gas detector is designed specifically for hazardous areas. The TX-KXP-D monitoring system is useful for leak detection of toxic, corrosive and mineral acid gases in chemical plants, refineries and other locations where explosive or flammable gases may be present.

Available with digital display, here are some of the other advantages of the TX-KXP-D:

PureAire’s TX-KXP-D provides protection from corrosive and mineral acid ages in areas where flammable gases may also be present, through the use of an intrinsically safe barrier.

The TX-KXP-D monitoring system can be calibrated without opening the enclosure, therefore, eliminating the need for a hot permit.

PureAire cells are designed to operate even in 100% RH conditions, such as condensing vent streams. As a result, there’s no need for expensive extractive sampling systems.

PureAire’s sensor cells are not affected by rapid changes in temperature or humidity, and offer interference free monitoring outdoor on fence lines.

The TX-KXP’D monitoring system can be remote up to one mile from centralized control systems.

For installation versatility, the TX-KXP-D’s 4-20mA signal interfaces with any independent alarm, control or surveillance system, as well as PureAire’s dedicated controller.

PureAire renewable sensor cells are easily recharged with electrolyte, right in the field, at approximately 1/4 the cost of disposable sensor cell type systems. Recharge costs typically run about $35.00 per sensor, every 6 months.

Explosion-Proof Monitor for Combustible Gases

An explosion-proof monitoring system for the detection and measurement of Methane, (CH4) hydrogen (H2), and other combustible gases is available from PureAire Monitoring Systems. Designed specifically for use in Class I, Division 1, Group B, C, and D hazardous areas, the PureAire Air Check Ex Monitoring System is ideal for leak detection and surveillance in chemical plants, refineries, and other locations where explosive or flammable gases may be present.

Zero-Maintenance Oxygen Monitor

An extremely economical, zero-maintenance oxygen deficiency (O2) monitor is available from PureAire Monitoring Systems. Ideal for the continuous monitoring of inert gas storage areas, confined spaces, and other locations where low oxygen levels may pose a hazard to personnel, the PureAire Air Check O2 Deficiency Monitor is suitable for either indoor or outdoor use. The instrument displays oxygen concentrations from 1.0% to 25% on a local readout and may be linked to a dedicated companion controller or most commercially available programmable logic controllers (PLCs). It operates on 24 VDC power.
